There are often issues between landlords and tenants, both in Assured Shorthold Tenancies and long leasehold properties. Leasehold law is complex and consists of many facets of law, and quite often it can become very confusing. Our role is to try to take the jargon out of the correspondence and to explain it in a practical manner.
We act for both landlords and tenants, and in some cases both where we look to reach a settlement through simple mediation, this is often a desirable solution which is both efficient and cost-effective to both parties.
We provide a FREE CLINIC for tenants to come and speak to us in relation to issues relating to their property, whether these issues relate to condition, costs or unwarranted expenditure by the landlord or invoices received from the landlord which relate to costs that they feel are not their responsibility.
We also look at matters from a landlord’s perspective of what to do if rent has not been paid or obligations have not been fulfilled by the leaseholder which are part of their tenancy agreement.
If you are a tenant or landlord and think we may be able to help why not give us a call or contact us here
